EID-UL-FITR

                                                    eid_al_fitr_by_brightdesign-d6h7pv4

This marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting, and is a festival of great celebration. In Islamic countries it is a public holiday. The first Eid was celebrated in 624 CE by the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) with hisfriends and relatives.

Muslims are not only celebrating the end of fasting, but thanking Allah for the help and strength that he gave them throughout the previous month to help them practice self-control.

The festival begins when the first sight of the new moon is seen in the sky.
Muslims in most countries rely on news of an official sighting, rather than looking at the sky themselves

.Eid ul Fitr is very much a community festival and people go out into the streets to exchange greetings, and visit friends and relatives. The celebratory atmosphere is increased by everyone wearing best or new clothes, and decorating their homes.

There are special services out of doors and in Mosques, processions through the streets, and of course, a special celebratory meal—eaten during daytime, the first daytime meal Muslims will have had in a month.Eid is also a time of forgiveness, and making amends.

Hobbies are very important to a person. Without having any hobby, life wA on’t be as colorful as it should be

A hobby can take you out of your life for a while. It can be invigorating, relaxing, educational, fun, or maybe, if you are lucky, a little of everything. Hobbies are more than just ways to creatively pass the time. They are also good for your health. Hobbies and other leisure activities can have many health benefits.Everyone knows that stress can and will at some point in your life, take a heavy toll on your mind and body. A hobby can prevent the harmful effects of stress and also make your life richer and more rewarding. There is evidence that staying mentally active may actually help prevent Hobbies can also help us feel connected. Helping us to interact with others helps to battle the demon loneliness. This also keeps our minds sharp. Hobbies have been around since the ancient times, yet very few people use them as an effective tool to beat stress. The secret is choosing a hobby that not only peaks your interest but you find mentally engaging. A hobby will make you a more rounded, interesting person. It gives you an outlet to explore your creativity. It will also bring you in c…..I collect a wide variety of things, including books, videos, stuffed animals

My favourite hobby is drwiong.Drawing is a form of visual expression and is one of the major forms within the visual arts. There are a number of subcategories of drawing, including cartooning. Certain drawing methods or approaches, such as “doodling” and other informal kinds of drawing such as drawing on a foggy mirror caused by the steam from a shower, or the surrealist method of “entoptic graphomania”, in which dots are made at the sites of impurities in a blank sheet of paper, and lines are then made between the dots, may or may not be considered   “fine art.” Likewise tracing, drawing on a thin piece of paper, sometimes designed for that purpose (tracing paper), around the outline of preexisting shapes that show through this paper, is also not considered fine art, although it may be part of the draughtsman’s preparation.
The word ‘drawing’ is used as both a verb and a noun:
Drawing (verb) is the act of making marks on a surface so as to create an image, form or shape.
The produced image is also called a drawing (noun). A quick, unrefined drawing may be defined as a sketch.
Drawing is generally concerned with the marking of lines and areas of tone onto paper. Traditional drawings were monochrome, or at least had little color, while modern colored-pencil drawings may approach or cross a boundary between drawing and painting. In Western terminology, however, drawing is distinct from painting despite that similar media are often employed in both tasks. Dry media, normally associated with drawing, such as chalk, may be used in pastel paintings. Drawing may be done with a liquid medium, applied with brushes or pens. Similar supports likewise can serve both: painting generally involves the application of liquid paint onto prepared canvas or panels, but sometimes an underdrawing is drawn first on that same support. Drawing is often exploratory, with considerable emphasis on observation, problem solving and composition…

The Importance of Equal Balance

images

Day by day, the world is becoming more advanced. The students; with all the new technology and newest software are as well. Nowadays almost everyone has their own devices which makes it easier for them to complete assignments. Also, teachers have decided to give homework which can be submitted online. This gives all the more reason why teachers should keep an equal value between in-classwork and take-homework. When it comes to generating marks, there are several reasons why homework should as importance as in-classwork such as tests. Firstly, it would be a lot safer for students along with being easier and more convenient. Secondly, it’s important for students to keep up with all the new technology for their future. Lastly, students may have difficulties concentrating during class.
Keeping an equal balance between homework and classwork would be beneficial to both teachers and students. In other words, it would be safer. First of all, many students often lose important documents such as homework. This is detrimental for the student’s grades unlike if the student could simply send their work to the teacher online. Then the student could truly be accountable since most schools already provide electronic devices. Also, doing so would be easier for the teacher since they would not have to carry so many assignments all by themselves and have the fear to lose them. Another issue is plagiarism. Although friends can be nice and sincere, they can unintentionally plagiarize their peer’s work too. Basically they can cheat. But if homework were given equal importance, then the student could show the teacher their ideas through their homework. Therefore marks would be fair since the so-called ‘friends’ won’t be sitting next to students in their home. Last but not least, the teacher could benefit from this system. This is because the teacher can look through completed homework in more detail. So they could improve their teaching methods throughout their teaching years. Homework is often given just for practice but it’s truly more important than that if looked at in different perspectives.
Students need to keep up with all the new software and technology for their future. They are now often submitting their homework online which is why they need to keep up with new tech. This is important because a lot of jobs are now using technology such as graphic design in artistic jobs. Another example is when many employees need to present or propose something to their boss; they use programs such as Prezi or Microsoft PowerPoint. In addition, students need to research a truck full of information for studying. So it is better for them to learn how to research properly when they are completing their assignments. Thirdly, submitting work electronically is very good for the environment since it saves millions of pieces of paper (according to author Marie Pond). It’s much better for the environment and schools to give the same value to homework as it is to classwork.
Students go through many of ups and downs when they are going through the process of education and growing up. For many students concentrating during class can often be quite difficult for various reasons. One reason is that there are many possible distractions. Yet the most popular ‘distraction’ bothering students is chatting. Yes, they have issues resisting the temptation of talking to friends. This is especially when something special has happened the night before and their friend is beside them. Another reason why children have trouble concentrating during class is that many of them need a certain environment to work in. For example, many students find it easier to concentrate while music is playing or when the room is dead silent. They may not always find this focus during class which is why homework should be given equal importance. Thirdly, a big problem is that many students can’t concentrate under pressure. Yet teachers may be the cause of this. The truth is that many teachers like to walk around the class during tests to see if everyone is on task. Although the teachers’ intentions are good, it doesn’t mean that all their actions are helpful. Instead of focusing on the test or quiz, many students get frightened or nervous and ‘mess up’. Therefore students shouldn’t have to worry about not being able to focus; rather they should only worry about getting the best grades possible. This would be easier if homework mattered more than it currently does.
But a question still may come to mind. Lots of teachers complain that students don’t usually complete their homework. So if equal importance was given, their grades would suffer. But this isn’t the actual case. Instead students will learn how to manage the given time to complete their homework. This is a very important skill and will not only help them in the future but will help them in present time. Not only that but it will possibly give some relief to teachers since they won’t have to complain as much. In a nutshell; giving equal importance to homework will teach students valuable skills which could help prepare them for their days ahead.
In conclusion, when generating marks teachers should think a little bit more about how students complete their homework. This is so that the students can benefit more from the feedback. If this happens, students can easily get higher marks since they could relax at home while still getting work done (without any tension). It would be better for students (and nature) and easier for teachers. Lastly, students will learn things which are important for their life ahead. If all is done then this young generation could grow up to be successful and therefore make the world a better place to live in.
